Our Accommodation
Our Guest Rooms
Comfortable Ensuite guest rooms
We have nine guest bedrooms at The Collingdale Guest House in Ilfracombe, Devon, six of which have stunning panoramic views over the harbour, with its quaint little chapel and Damien Hirst's statue Verity and the Nature Reserve of Hillsborough. The other three rooms overlook the front of the house and the wooded area beyond. Our balcony view rooms are very popular, as you can sit outside with your morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening and watch the comings and goings in the harbour.
All of our rooms at the Guest House in Ilfracombe are beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard with deep comfortable mattresses for a good night’s sleep, flat-screen TV with Freeview, plus a well-stocked beverage tray, complimentary toiletries and mineral water, big fluffy white bath towels and lots of thoughtful little extras! Free WiFi is available in all rooms.
Rooms at the top of the house have vaulted ceilings and command the best views of the harbour, so if you don't mind a few steps it is worth the climb for the view.
Please Note
The Collingdale was built in 1869, when en-suite bathrooms were not invented, so these were added over the years, making the best use of the space available and all have standard size shower enclosures. So, whilst our rooms and ensuites are cosy and compact, we would hope that the stunning views, fantastic service and excellent breakfast more than compensate for this.
Please note, that our accommodation is spread over several floors and we do not have any ground floor bedrooms, so we may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility as we do not have a lift. If you would prefer a room on a lower floor please advise at the time of booking.
The Breakfast room is situated one floor down from reception.
